R.C. Sproul

by Tammy on December 14, 2017

I was saddened to hear of R.C. Sproul’s passing today. He was a theological giant, ranking right up there with my favorite Bible teacher, John MacArthur. I feel sad, but the same time, whenever a truly saved person departs this earth, I feel a twinge of envy because I know that he or she is in glory, standing before the Lord receiving his or her reward because of Jesus’ sacrifice. It is a bittersweet feeling; I am sad that he is gone, envious of where he is, but so happy for him at the same time. Thankfully, his legacy will live on through Ligonier Ministries. He will truly rest in peace.

I am happy to report that I FINALLY finished a paper tonight. Woot! Only six more assignments to go in this class. My goal is to write a paper or do a project a day over the next week and then really crack down on biostats. I have an entire month to finish that one, so I’m in pretty good shape. Things seem to be coming along at Trident. We got word today that they are definitely going to apply the 50% off scholarship to my tuition, so I will be able to afford the program. I also went through my student loan paperwork tonight, so I am getting close to being finished with the admissions process. January 15 th will be here in the blink of an eye!

Well, I took a job for tomorrow, so I need to head up to shower and get ready for bed. I hope you all have a fantastic weekend!
